Dependent Enrollment

Eligible students who do enroll in student health insurance may also insure their Dependents. Eligible Dependents are the student’s legal spouse and dependent children under 26 years of age. Dependents can only be enrolled for coverage during the open enrollment periods listed above unless there is a qualifying event.

Continuation Coverage

Eligible students can enroll for up to three months of Continuation Coverage as long they were insured for at least three (3) continuous months before coverage terminated under the Prior and/or Current Plan.  The premium must be received prior to the existing coverage under the St. Edward’s Student Health Insurance Plan terminates. In no event will the Covered Person be eligible for Continuation of Coverage if premium is received after the termination date of the Policy. There is no renewable option and no refunds are available after you have selected the coverage.
